The project is strategically located in Al-Jazirah State, just 33 kilometers south of Khartoum State, providing exceptional proximity to Sudan’s most important commercial centers and major markets. Spanning a total area of 3,000 feddans (approximately 1,260 hectares), the project relies on gravity-flow irrigation directly from the Nile River – one of the world’s most ancient and reliable irrigation systems – ensuring continuous water supply and contributing to high, sustainable agricultural productivity year–round.
